Houston, Texas March 27, 2018 – DRTY ONES Entertainment and client BigSkinny the comedian announced today BigSkinny has advanced to the final rounds of the Make Me Laugh Comedy contest being held in Dallas, Texas.
The lucky winner of the contest will be the opening act for popular Dallas, Texas event DeDe’s April Fool’s Comedy Jam III, March 31st, 2018 which will feature superstar acts such as D. C. Young Fly, Donnell Rawlings, J.J. Williamson and original queen of comedy Mo’Nique who has recently been a news favorite because of her call to boycott Netflix.
During preliminary rounds of the Make Me Laugh Comedy contest, BigSkinny brought his best comedic game, offering fresh new comedy sets each week as he advanced to each subsequent level of the competition. Because of his new sets each week, his relatability of jokes and ability to make the crowd consistently burst into laughter, BigSkinny quickly became a crowd favorite. However, his chances of winning came to an unexpected end when he was eliminated from the competition during week 7. Yet, after further review by the competition organizers it was determined there was a miscalculation in judging and BigSkinny was asked to return to the competition the following week. Given another chance at an already significant opportunity, BigSkinny returned to the competition impressing the judges and crowd to advance to the final round!

The Make Me Laugh Contest, which kicked off January 31, 2018 is being held at Club Odyssey in Dallas with the final round happening on March 28th and kicking off at 8pm.
